Your password is the only way to restore your files so you must keep it safe. However if you forget it please send us an email from your registered account.
When the backup is running you will see the Home PC Backup software icon in the bottom right-hand side of the screen in the system tray moving, this gives you a visual indication that the backup is running. The main way though is to check your email account, as after every single completed backup our server sends you an email stating it was successful or not as the case may be.
